About Me

My name is Dr. Zeal Okogeri, but most people know me as Dr. Zeal, or simply Zeal. My life’s work is devoted to spiritual guidance and mentorship, walking with individuals through seasons of change, challenge, and inner awakening. This path has unfolded over many years through a blending of clinical practice, contemplative teaching, and lived spiritual inquiry.

My early formation was rooted in natural healthcare, including chiropractic, where I spent more than two decades working closely with the human body. Alongside this, I have taught and practiced meditation for over thirty years. Beneath all professional roles has been a steady calling to listen deeply to the human spirit and honor the transformative power of kindness, compassion, and presence.

My spiritual understanding has been shaped by a lifelong engagement with the world’s wisdom traditions. I have studied and practiced within Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, New Age philosophy, and African mystic traditions. This devotion has carried me to nearly

fifty countries and into sacred spaces where prayer, silence, and surrender are lived realities. I have spent time in remote monasteries in Tibet, stood at the birthplace of the Buddha in Nepal, walked the Golden Temple in India, performed Umrah in Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, and prayed at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France.  These journeys were not undertaken as travel alone, but as invitations to listen more deeply and to honor the shared human experience.

Some of the most enduring lessons, however, came not from sacred sites but from life itself. I have known loss, uncertainty, loneliness, and profound inner testing. These experiences shaped the humility and compassion that now guide my work. Because I have walked through my own seasons of struggle, I strive to meet you where you are, with steadiness, respect, and without judgment.

My approach to spiritual mentorship is simple. I do not impose doctrine, techniques, or agendas. Instead, I offer presence, discernment, and spiritual support, both within our conversations and beyond them. Much of this work unfolds quietly, at levels that may not always be easy to name, yet are deeply felt.

If you are seeking accompaniment rather than instruction, and a space that honors your own unfolding, I am here to walk alongside you.
